Located high above Zurich and so just a stone’s throw from the city, Chäsalp occupies what was once an outbuilding of the Alter Tobelhof farmstead. The building is listed and was carefully renovated between 2015 and 2016. The Chäsalp offers its guests a cozy atmosphere and culinary experience in equal measure. She specializes in various fondues and maggerons. In summer, guests especially enjoy the romantic sunsets on the large garden terrace. Whenever you visit us, we look forward to seeing you.

The historical, traditional restaurant between Zürichberg and Adlisberg offers classic Swiss cooking, including several types of fondue, raclette and Alpine macaroni, all year round. Alongside these popular cheese dishes, the restaurant serves classics like Zurich ‘Geschnetzeltes’, veal cordon bleu and Swiss-style meatballs. In summer, naturally, the menu also features lighter dishes and several types of salad.
We – Pascal Käser, Wiebke Kehmann-Krause and Birger Kehmann – are an experi-enced team with a common goal: completely satisfied guests. Our keys to achieving this are an unbeatably cosy location on Zurich’s highest alp, a memorably enjoyable experience and warm hospitality.
